Daily consumption and medicinal intake should be done with much caution Because they all go through the liver. Blood from the digestive system passes through the liver for the filtration process before going to the body. The blood clotting process uses proteins while the intestines need bile to function and they are both produced by the liver. A healthy liver is key in doing away with Cirrhosis, Hepatitis, Liver cancer, liver failure and Hemochromatosis which arise due to negligence in taking care of the liver.

Prevention of liver diseases starts with daily diet check. Well rounded meals should be taken daily. Taking fiber filled meals such as vegetables, fresh fruits, and brown rice reduces the rate of liver diseases. Foods that cause liver diseases should not be consumed. White bread and white rice have refined carbohydrates, sugar and fat should not be consumed in excess. eating of red meat should be done at a low rate.

Making sure that one has healthy weight reduces the risk of having a liver disease. Being overweight puts one at great risk of affecting the liver because it automatically becomes fat. There is a high rate of growth observed in a fattened liver as it continues to grow even more fatter. Reducing the amount of fat in the liver is key in healthy living. Having good health in one’s liver is partly achieved through exercising.
Alcohol consumption leads to disorder developments in the liver. The consumption of alcohol destroys the liver cells leading to poor functioning of the liver which might end up causing a disorder called cirrhosis. The maximum amount of alcohol to be taken is one drink for a lady per day and two for a man per day. The working capacity of the liver rises due to no or less consumption of alcohol which increases the health of the liver.

Wrong consumption of medication exposes one to the risk of developing a liver disorder or a disease. The normal functioning of a liver can be stopped due to taking in wrong medication. Taking a lot of painkillers might harm the liver. One should know exactly what medication has and administering it in the right way, some medications when combined with others might lead to liver misfunctioning.

Liver misfunctioning can be reduced by taking coffee. Protection from getting Hepatitis A and B and should be done through vaccination. Hepatitis should be tested early to in case of anything treatment can begin early.

Living right reduces the possibilities of liver diseases.
